Teresa Hurt  

Ms. Hurt has directed or participated in numerous survey and excavation projects in the Southwestern United States. She has completed coursework and workshops relevant to cultural resource compliance work and is experienced in managing all phases of archaeology projects, including fieldwork and lab analysis, quality control, and report writing and editing. She has managed many projects involving coordination with federal agencies, including the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Ms. Hurt is the author of numerous cultural resource management technical reports as well as peer-reviewed book and journal publications. Ms. Hurt is also an experienced technical editor and has edited reports related to cultural resource and environmental compliance.

  • Lone Mountain Archaeological Services, Inc., Albuquerque, NM, Project Manager: 1999 to 2002: Responsibilities included management of all phases of archaeology projects, including fieldwork, lab analysis, quality control, and report writing.
