Nicholas Parker, M.A.

Mr. Parker has experience in all phases of archaeological fieldwork, analysis, and report writing and has been a practicing archaeologist since 1999, primarily in the Southwestern United States. In addition, he also has experience in Britain, the eastern US, and Alaska. This work experience spans the National Park Service, the USDA Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management, along with private cultural resource management firms. In both public and private service, Mr. Parker has directed or participated in many survey and excavation projects. He is also the author of numerous cultural resource management technical reports for the government and for TEC. In addition, Mr. Parker has been using GIS in natural and cultural resource management since 2002. This technical experience—coupled with his strong writing and managing skills—has allowed TEC to offer structured client to agency consultation in verbal, written, and cartographic formats. These skills also translate into the production of complex technical reports, monitoring and data recovery plans, research designs, and integrated GIS solutions for agencies, engineers, contractors, and clients. Mr. Parker currently serves as a Senior Project Manager and Assistant Program Manager for TEC’s Cultural Resources Section. Within these charges he oversees the work of staff, serves as a technical editor and quality control manager, and concurrently provides oversight on many small, mid-size, and large projects.
