TEC’s Biological Group includes expertise in threatened and endangered species, wetlands, noxious weeds, plant and animal ecology, and other biological fields.
TEC has broad-based biological capabilities conducting both general threatened/endangered species surveys and species-specific surveys ranging from plants to amphibians to birds. Habitat assessment is an integral part of all surveys.
Our staff is experienced with wetland delineations and mitigation design and plans. Our staff conduct vegetation monitoring, data analysis, and make recommendations on mine and other disturbed land reclamation and restoration. Staff are knowledgeable about management of invasive weeds.
This group also provides expertise in Clean Water Act permitting, including the Section 404, Section 401, and the NPDES permitting and compliance processes.
Finally, TEC is capable of collecting and organizing a wide variety of biological information and data into scientifically sound environmental evaluations.
